If you have a pool that’s not big enough to swim laps, you need one of these. A few hundred bucks vs a $15k - $20k add on propulsion system is a no brainer.
I was about to get rid of my inground pool. My kids grew and lost interest in it. It is too small for me to enjoy a 30-minute daily swimming. An alternative would have been acquiring a FastLane system from Endless Pool for a total ridiculous cost of about 17k, which would have rusted on me in a matter of 2 seasons or so. Swim tether solved my issue. I swim and enjoy daily, literally. One of the best investments ever made! All ingenious is simple, as it is said. I am very, very, very happy.
The product itself is fantastic. I turned a cruise pool into an endless pool. Highly recommend the Swim Teather Travel Pack. Purchase and bring a swim buoy for your legs though, sometimes you have to place the cord in positions that sinks your legs. Would highly recommend to anyone

The product is incredibly easy to use. It's a great workout and a must if you have a pool. My brother even bought one. Abide by what they say, though. Start slowly if you're just beginning . Do 5-7 min. It is a great workout. The customer service is even better than the product. I took the 8-ft tether out of the package, and it was broken. I sent a picture with my text, and received a new tether in about 4 days. Thanks for the great product and service!
This product was the answer to my wife who could no longer participate in her triathlons because of her heart surgery. Now she can spend as much time as she can in our pool.
I ordered replacement oar teathers after one of mine broke after 2.5 years. Replacing them was easy and quick. Only suggestion would be to make the "D"- rings out of metal.
I live in Florida where a lot of residential pools are small and only good for cooling off or for the grandkids. With the swim tether, our small pool has turned into a workout pool. Very happy with how natural it feels while “swimming in place”.
The tether allows me to swim any stroke. And when I needed new plug for the mount, they send it right away.

I’m always happy to show my swim friends the setup, and most always get a “that’s not a workout” comment… but I’m always invite them to swim it… and then it kicks their ass with great positioning and support, the ability to refine swim stroke and improve breathing technique…. Hahah. Many have been inspired to get their own.

The tether helps me stay in the swim lane, keeps my body straight down the middle. Without it the strong eddy would try to bring my legs around sideways.
