Read this first — pick your size

This fits in-ground umbrella sleeves — the kind set into a concrete deck, tanning ledge, or Baja/sun shelf. It is not for table-mounted umbrella holes.

Size by the inside diameter of your empty sleeve:

• Fits 2"
• Fits 1-7/8"
• Fits 1-5/8"

Between two sizes? Choose the smaller one. A slightly loose adapter lifts right back out; one forced into too tight a hole can be tough to remove — and the whole point is that it comes out.

An honest note on fit. This adapter is built to lift back out — that's the whole point of it. Forced into a hole that's too small, though, the nylon can wedge in and become very hard to remove. So sizing and install are yours to get right: match your sleeve, never force it, and when you're between sizes, go smaller. A stuck adapter from an incorrect fit is used at your own risk and falls outside our warranty. Want a no-guesswork mount? Our standard install — drilling and setting a permanent base — is the sure thing, and we'll gladly set you up with one instead.

How it works

The sized nylon sleeve slides into your umbrella hole. A 316 stainless steel Swim Tether base sits on top, locked to the sleeve with set screws and resting flush on the deck. Drop your pole into the base and swim. Done for the day? Lift the whole thing out — the deck goes back to a clean umbrella sleeve, like you were never there.

Built to stay the size you set it

The nylon is sized to its fully water-saturated dimension — we soak-tested it for a month so it settles into your sleeve and stays put. The size you fit on day one is the size you keep.
