I have been using the Swim Tether for over five years and I actually gave up my Swim, Spa and endless, pool noise and current to use the Tether.
I highly recommend it. I listen to books on tape for about an hour every morning swimming. It’s very easy and quiet and maintenance free.
I take it on vacations and often snap it onto a ladder at any swimming pool and can swim anywhere very easily and I can take my lap pool anywhere, ha ha
These replacements for the originals work exactly as they should. The original ones lasted for seven years so hopefully the new ones do also
I bought the swim belt and two of these cords to tether to pool fence post to form a “V” - works perfect! Customer service was awesome. I accidentally put the run belt in my cart, sent an email and they immediately corrected for me!
This was one of my favorite purchases last year. The travel swim belt is easy to set up, comfortable to wear, and gives me a great swimming workout even in a small pool. The quality is excellent, and I am very happy with it.

This is my second one in a year. The nylon webbing begins to fray at about 6 months. Cheap Chinese material. Don't understand why thel keep selling products with crappy quality materials. What about canvas straps?
Bryan — appreciate the honest feedback, and I'm sorry a strap frayed on you again. That's not what we expect from these, and it's why every Tether carries a 1-year warranty. A replacement belt is already on its way to you, no charge. Fraying like this is rare, but when it happens we make it right — every time.

Oh WOW! What a game changer! I thought I had made a mistake getting a swimspa until I got this little gem. It feels very natural like I'm swimming by myself, I don't feel any tension or feel like I'm being held back, just 1 stroke after another after another.
Works really well in SwimSpa - comfortable and can swim as easy or as fast as would like. It also supports the core so good for technique.
Great quality and comfortable. However, I swim open water long distance using a two beat kick . Pool training with the tether I find my feet sinking due to minimal kick and lack of forward momentum. I don’t really want to have to do a flutter kick as it changes my cadence. Ankle straps rather than hip strap may be an option ?? At this point I’m not sure the tether is going to be as helpful as I’d hoped .
I use this belt with two 8 ft lengths of bungie cord on a pool attached to a fence with an eye bolt about 8 feet above pool level. I use it three or four times a week. My swim routine is 220 yards breast stroke (without the tether), followed by 60 full rotations of crawl using the swim tether. I repeat this sequence 4 times. I place the belt low on my hips so that the tether keeps me completely level. The belt is very comfortable. I just purchased my third belt. It dries in the sun, which probably shortens the life of foam over the webbing. So I buy one every two to three years. I also replaced one bungie cord because the clips become brittle from being in the the sun.
We have attached it to the base of a mobile umbrella. It works great, takes a little getting used.
Does exactly what it claims to do. I can swim laps in any pool with virtually no set up.

Plate installed easily. A heads up for anyone who purchased a Stealth swim spa…they don’t make a tether system, and the mounting plate that came from the factory is too small for any other tethers. very frustrating!! Swap the plate out for a swim tether and you’re good to go.
I like it. Works as advertised except I paid and did receive screw thread model. Would be nice if there was optional over shoulder clip belts not just waist so u could adjust wear on torso the belt sits. My lowere back wants it not to be belt high which tugs lower back down while I pull upper torso by swimming. Would be better if. Belt was chest hi.

Works perfectly. Allows us to swim in place in our 14ft above ground pool. You will need something solid near the pool to anchor to and with a smaller pool be creative in adjusting winding up the slack so you are in the center of you pool while swimming but once set its done! We love it!
